Trevor German was accused of having sex with one of his students

A teacher formerly employed by the Rainbow District School Board has been found guilty of professional misconduct by the Ontario College of Teachers.

The disciplinary decision against German will also be published in an official Ontario College of Teachers publication. He also, the document alleges, took the student’s hand and placed it “in his pants and/or near his genital area.” From June to September 2018, the teacher also allegedly engaged in sexual relations with the student “on one or more occasions.”

According to the Ontario College of Teachers website, German agreed, as of May 25, 2021, “not to teach in a public or private school in Ontario, or to hold or seek to hold a position requiring that a Certificate of Qualification and Registration be held, until the Discipline Committee of the Ontario College of Teachers has adjudicated the discipline proceedings pending against him.”
