Police body warn vision showed McGannon at the scene of a sport fire on Hicks Hill Road at Cherry Gardens, where he told officers that he saw the person who lit the fires."The bastard lit it, I saw him light it and I thought you bloody idiot," he said. Defence lawyers for McGannon had argued that it could not be proven the multiple fires were lit by the same person.
