PHOTO CONTRIBUTED - ContributedSYDNEY — Former Cape Breton Eagle goaltender Remi Delafontaine has been named to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s team of the week for the period ending Dec. 18.
Delafontaine, now of the Shawinigan Cataractes, wposted a 2-1-0-0 record with a 1.67 goals-against-average and a .936 save percentage. The 18-year-old was traded to the Cataractes from the Eagles prior to the start of the 2022-23 regular season. Other players named to the team of the week include Frederic Brunet , Isaac Belliveau , Jordan Dumais , Jacob Melanson and Cam MacDonald .
