SYDNEY - A former Cape Breton Eagle draft pick will play in the British Columbia Hockey League outdoor all-star tournament later this month in Penticton. Forward Brady Hunter of Enfield, N.S., will suit up for the Interior Conference team in the event, which is slated to take place on Jan. 21. Hunter was drafted by Cape Breton in the ninth round, No. 151 overall, at the 2018 QMJHL Entry Draft. He attended training camp but later left to keep his NCAA eligibility.
The 20-year-old Hunter is currently playing for the Trail Smoke Eaters and has eight goals and 27 points in 32 games this season.
