David Wurster, president of Vincentric, said the awards give these vehicles “an opportunity to demonstrate their viability to the Canadian fleet market. Even if they often come with a higher sticker price, our awards show that they can still deliver lower ownership costs and better overall value throughout their lifetimes.”Article content
To determine the winners, Vincentric analyzed detailed cost of ownership, based on typical commercial fleet use. Each vehicle was evaluated across parameters in the ten provinces plus Northwest Territories, analyzing deprecation, fees and taxes, financing, fuel, insurance, maintenance, opportunity costs, and repairs. The winners are below.
