Which is precisely where polluters want them.”
The most recent UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report urged governments to take immediate and massive measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, warning the goal of holding global warming to 1.5 degrees may have already slipped from reach. Professor Mann believes the best way to maintain motivation is to reframe activism in terms of potential prevention, rather than progress lost.
