IT was a happy reunion for football coach Mohd Sopian Mohamed Sapihi, 48, and his biological mother after they were separated after his birth, Kosmo! reported.

IT was a happy reunion for football coach Mohd Sopian Mohamed Sapihi, 48, and his biological mother after they were separated after his birth,Mohd Sopian, from Seri Kembangan, was raised by his grandmother in Perak from the time he was eight months old after his parents separated.He said he and his wife Nor Faridah Badri, 46, decided to go to Johor to get information on where she lived but did not expect to find her on their first try.

Mohd Sopian said the longing to know more of his mother started in 2013 and grew stronger after his father passed away. He added that he was surprised to learn that his other siblings were also trying to find him and had even travelled to Singapore because his late father had been living there. Such people should also undergo therapy as part of their rehabilitation so that they could control their temper before things got out of hand, he said.
