At least 500 families were evacuated in Norzagaray, Bulacan after their communities were flooded following the release of water from Angat and Ipo dams due to continuous rains.
The Angat and Ipo Dams, both in Norzagaray, has been releasing water since Friday. at 8.5 meters, while Ipo Dam had six gates open at 9.2 meters.
Members of Norzagaray Rescue were still scouring the flooded areas on Saturday to rescue residents who were not able to evacuate on Friday.
