Following the tragic death of jockey Dean Holland, Racing Victoria has announced that his funeral and a public memorial will be held at Flemington racecourse at 2 pm on May 8.
The 34-year-old passed away on Monday after falling from his horse during a race at Donald in country Victoria.
The racing community has come together to support Holland’s family, with a ‘GoFundMe’ page raising almost $1.5 million for his wife Lucy and their four children.
