They ultimately collected just three points on their longest sojourn of the season and return home to the Saddledome with an overall record of 2-3-1.

Alex DeBrincat notched a hat-trick for the Red Wings, while Dylan Larkin, Joe Veleno and Jake Walman also scored. Dan Vladar was credited with 24 saves in Calgary’s crease. It certainly didn’t help that the Flames were without their best blue-liner, with Rasmus Andersson serving the start of his four-game suspension.
