There is no other way of putting it: Markstrom has been terrible this season. Through 38 starts, he is 15-14-7 with a .889 SV%, and is probably the only reason the Flames are not in the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference right now. His underlying metrics are just as poor, and his track record against Vegas is not much better. Markstrom is the main reason this total is at 6.5 instead of six, but as long as Hill and the Knights’ blue line hold up their side of the bargain, this Under is still live even if Markstrom allows four goals.Article contentThere have now been six or fewer total goals scored in 12 of Vegas’ last 16 games.
