Dr Wilson, from the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Biotechnology Research Institute, pitched a seaweed seedling production system that aims to revolutionise seaweed farming with sustainable and reliable high quality seedlings for farmers and industries.
They are Dr Wilson Yong Thau Lym, Felicia Ling, Heaster Andrea Hilary, Sara Yap and Arthur Pang who beat 50 other finalists.
