From bank earnings to GDP results, here are five things to watch for in the Canadian business world in the coming week:
The parade of first-quarter results from Canada’s big banks picks up this week with BMO Financial Group and Scotiabank reporting on Tuesday. Royal Bank of Canada and National Bank of Canada are scheduled to report their results on Wednesday and TD Bank Group is expected to release its results on Thursday.Statistics Canada will release Tuesday its figures for real gross domestic product for December and the fourth quarter.
Calgary is expected to release its February sales figures on Wednesday followed by Vancouver on Thursday. Toronto is expected to release its sales numbers for February on Friday.Enbridge Inc. will hold its annual investor day on Wednesday, when it will review its strategic plan, business unit priorities and financial outlook.
