Four men and a woman will be charged in relation to the disappearance and suspected murder of an Adelaide man in 2020.

Five people will be charged in relation to the disappearance and suspected murder of an Adelaide man in 2020, South Australia Police say.Police will charge four men and a woman today, all of whom are already in custody.

Detective Inspector Brad Featherby alleged that Mr Atkins was held "under physical and coercive control" between November 8 and 16, 2020. Mr Atkins was physically assaulted at Christies Downs, Seaford and North Plympton when he was held for over a week, police say. Then he was taken to the Mid North where police alleged he was murdered and buried on November 16, 2020.
