Following the party's dissolution in 2011, Kalyan formed his Jana Sena Party in 2014 but failed to secure any parliamentary seats in the 2019 elections. She is also set to lock horns with the late Tamil actor Vijayakanth's son, Vijaya Prabhakaran for the seat.
