In the midst of a four-game series against the Newfoundland Rogues, the Sudbury Five were on the East Coast on Thursday night to battle their Maritime rivals.
With a record of 6-3 for nine games played, the Five are currently sitting second behind the London Lightning in the four-team National Basketball League of Canada. Newfoundland jumped out to an early lead on Thursday, finishing the first quarter up eight points over Sudbury, 40-32.
