Senior ministers in the Minns government will be sworn in on Tuesday marking Labor's official return to power in New South Wales, as the party's first priorities in office are revealed.
The swearing in ceremony will also see an interim ministry being formed so senior Labor parliamentarians can get briefings from key government departments.
Mr Mookhey told reporters that Tuesday will mark the end of the caretaker period and allow decision making to resume in NSW. Mr Mookey said the Minns government will be seeking to prioritise briefings on the state's finances, the transport network, a fish kill in the far west and the flood response in northern NSW.
"Equally we are looking forward to getting a briefing in terms of the Menindee fish kills... a big part of our immediate priority as well to get across it.
