NSTnation: Perak Fire and Rescue Department has confirmed that one of its own from the TelukIntan station has been tested positive for Covid19. coronavirus MCO MovementControlOrder

Its director, Azmi Osman said the fireman had undergone screening at Teluk Intan Hospital two days ago and the result came back positive.

"He is now under quarantine at the Teluk Intan Hospital for 14 days. His family, as well as his team from the station were also instructed to go for screening today," he said. Azmi said other firemen from the station would have to go for screening should they have flu or cough or any symptoms. He added that the people have nothing to worry about as the Teluk Intan fire station is still functioning and would still be in service.
