No injuries were reported as Ottawa firefighters doused a second\u002Dalarm blaze at St. Luke\u0027s Anglican Church on Somerset Street West at Bell Street North Tuesday morning.

Crews saw smoke when they arrived and declared a working fire. A second alarm was called at 9:36 a.m. to summon more resources to fight the fire as crews confirmed no one was inside. The main body of the fire was “knocked down” at 9:41 a.m., DeFazio said. Firefighters remained on the scene checking for fire spread. A fire investigator was dispatched to determine the cause.Article content
