It’s one of several oddly funny bits in the film, another being when Gabi says she’s an actress in commercials with a flair for “natural failing.” Asked to elaborate, she demonstrates by trying to cut a dinner roll with a knife, growing more frustrated and upset until pointing out that this is where the pitch for the knife-o-matic 2000 goes.
