Their EP “Talaarawan,” featuring hits like “Salamin, Salamin,” “Pantropiko,” and “Karera,” was a major success, as were their earlier songs like “Lagi,” “Na Na Na,” “Huwag Muna Tayong Umuwi,” and “Born to Win.” BINI’s unique aesthetic, with face gems, hair braids, and colorful outfits, also became a trend, inspiring fans to emulate their idols’ looks. Another artist who made waves in 2024 was Hev Abi, a rap star known for his catchy tunes and mysterious persona. Hev Abi released a string of hit songs, including “Alam Mo Ba Girl,” “Walang Alam,” “Lil Kasalanan Shortie,” and “QC Girls.” He was also featured in collaborations with other artists, such as “Makasarili Malambing” with Kristina Dawn and “Babaero” with gins&melodies, the latter being Spotify Philippines’ top song of the year.
