Filipino mixed martial artist Ruel “Bagsik” Panales is confident as he prepares for his historic Professional Fighters League ( PFL ) debut at the Road to Dubai Champions Series on January 25th at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai , United Arab Emirates. Panales, the first fighter to represent the Philippines in the PFL SmartCage, will face the UAE’s Hadi Al Hussaini in a preliminary flyweight bout.

Panales acknowledges his biggest challenges will be adjusting to Dubai's time zone and fighting in Al Hussaini's home country. He believes his well-rounded fighting style, height, and strength give him an edge.
