It wasn’t Bedard’s play that was needed against Team USA; it was the clutch goaltending of Thomas Milic, who was brilliant as Canada was outplayed throughout as the United States recorded 45 shots, the vast majority glorious scoring chances.The game was not without controversy as USA had two goals called back. The first would have made it 3-3 and it was a questionable call, which may have been a momentum changer.
