Two Ajax residents are among those facing charges after a drug investigation by Durham police.
On Tuesday, officers made an arrest in Stayner and seized a quantity of fentanyl. The investigation had been ongoing since May.At an unspecified time, officers also executed a search warrant on McMahon Drive in North York. They seized a loaded handgun, ammo, fentanyl, cocaine and cash. Jahmai Deerr, 24, of Ajax, and Jasmine Gabriel, 19, of Ajax, were arrested.
