Missy Brownie isn't as snuggly as her sister Masey Pumpkin Spice but she does have her favourite humans who go to the J-Street Community Space in Sydney Mines. "We are in need of two backpack carriers for the cats for transportation to and from work — crates are not recommended. They are comfort cats. The backpack is also an aid to assist in other aspects of the program as well," said centre co-ordinator Saralyn Gillan." sponsorship for their yearly checkup, we need cat litter and wood pellets for their litter box weekly. We also need food on a weekly basis.
Timbury's younger sister, six-year-old Kennedy Timbury-Keagan often snuggles with the cats when she is at the centre. "We have all come to love and appreciate the companion cats as well as become dependent on them being there," Gillan said.Timbury and Gillan hope they can get sponsorship so they can bring them back to the centre and restart the program before the centre loses their animals completely.
