With the latest data from CME Fed watch tool showing that there is an almost 100% chance of an interest rate cut in September, the market is beginning to price in what that could look like.
"I watch the labor market, but the unemployment rate is still 4.1%, in some sense, it's still very historically low, I think that part of it is a very positive," Hoening says."I like it, but the fact of the matter is, inflation is still 3% year-over-year, 2.6% using their so-called favored measure, which is still not 2%.
