Court heard that the young woman’s father called cops and asked for a welfare check on his daughter, whom he had not heard from for several days. Using an app on her phone, her dad tracked her to the Hilton and cops later made the grisly discovery of her decomposing body covered in blood and with a gunshot wound in her stomach.
Police later learned that the day before Duncan was discovered dead, officers found Hutto dazed in his car in a St. Augustine gas station.
