A couple and their daughter were killed after the vehicle they were riding in collided with a truck in Barangay Dunggoan, Danao City, northern Cebu, at noon on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
CEBU CITY –
Police identified the fatalities as Erwin Bacalso Mondejar, his wife Imelda, and their daughter Erin. The couple’s son, Imer, was the only survivor of the accident on the national highway.Police said the family came from an adventure park in Danao and was on their way to Cebu City when they met the accident. The family was aboard a Mitsubishi sedan driven by Erwin, 26.
Batobalonos told police that he saw the car going in his direction, prompting him to honk the truck’s horn repeatedly.
