With inflation still hot and more rate hikes from the Bank of Canada looming, many hope Ottawa is armed with a serious strategy to improve the current state of affairs. This is how former cabinet minister and Conservative MP Lisa Raitt feels.
In addition to serving as vice-chair of global investment banking at CIBC, Raitt is co-chair of Coalition for a Better Future with former Liberal cabinet minister Anne McLellan. The coalition, which consists of 139 organizations from the private sector and civil society, emerged as a public policy effort to achieve long-term economic growth.
