Cobourg Police Service reports that it learned the driver was wanted on a warrant by another police service and is currently on a weapons prohibition order.

During the arrest police found a number of prohibited items including illegal drugs, two prohibited knives, a pellet gun, and break-in instruments. Thirty-three year-old Cody Puffer of Cobourg faces 10 charges and will appear in court on February 8.As a result of the police investigation, Cody Puffer of Cobourg was charged with the following offences:Canada Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition order, section 117.
