The first-ever Walk of Faith held Sunday in the leadup to the Feast of the Black Nazarene was filled with people wishing and thanking the Lord for their lives and what comes with it.
On early Sunday morning, while everyone was walking from the Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church, GMA Integrated News was able to talk to some who were kind enough to share their reasons for joining the Walk of Faith.
Their reasons for joining maybe different for each one, but for sure, faith drives them to join to look forward though 2023 with hope. Norma Guiling, 73, has been a devotee since 1982. She walked Manila streets with a candle and a statue in her hands to thank the Black Nazarene for her health and her children’s lives. She also prayed for a clearer mind and a stronger body.
