There have been extensive delays at Melbourne Airport on Monday morning due to a security breach.
A passenger had to be re-screened after somehow getting through security unchecked, resulting in all domestic flights being reportedly grounded as a precaution – with the Qantas terminal directly affected.
Melbourne Airport has confirmed the issue has now been resolved with security screening returning back to normal, but the breach is expected to cause delays throughout the day.
