The City of Burnaby has won three awards from the Government Finance Officers Association.
The City of Burnaby’s finance department is a winner, taking home the “triple crown” of three financial reporting awards.
The awards recognize local governments that provide high quality financial reports designed to be accessible and understandable to the public and go beyond the minimum requirements of accepted accounting principles. “I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to our outstanding finance team in Burnaby,” said Mayor Mike Hurley in the release.
