Former Ako Bicol Representative Alfredo Garbin Jr . is set to formally assume office next week as mayor of Legazpi City in Albay following the disqualification of Carmen Rosal in the May 2022 national and local polls.The Commission on Elections on Thursday said it ordered the special city board of canvassers of Legazpi City to convene at the Palacio del Gobernador in Intramuros, Manila on Monday, Nov. 11, to proclaim Garbin as the duly-elected mayor of Legazpi City .
