22 years after teeing it up at the Eagle Creek Classic, Brad Fritsch is hoping to play well at the Commissionaires Ottawa Open at Eagle Creek.
But that doesn’t take away from his desire to put in a good showing at the Commissionaires Ottawa Open, a PGA Tour Canada partnership with ClubEG, which goes from Thursday to Sunday at Dunrobin’s majestic Eagle Creek Golf Club.Then a young golf pro chasing his dream, Fritsch is now 45. He’s no longer playing golf full-time; instead he’s focused on Red Rooster Golf and being a husband and dad.
“I have great memories here. I remember making the cut right on the number. I remember being quite young and wondering what a 45-year-old would be doing out here. Now, I’m the 45-year-old and I know what I’m doing here. I’m here to have a good tournament and have fun.”He’s a 22-year veteran of the PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour Canada. In 2015, Fritsch finished in a tie for 46th place at the PGA Tour’s U.S. Open. It took 136 tries on the Web.
