There has been a chilling confession from Brazilian national Marcelo Santoro, as he faced a Rio courtroom, five years after he allegedly killed his ex-partner and dumped her body in Sydney's Lane Cove River. LaurenTomasi 9News MORE:
Santoro was arrested in Brazil in July 2018 and charged with Haddad's murder.On Wednesday, he gave a detailed confession about what took place inside her Ryde apartment when she died.
Santoro said he entered Haddad's apartment without her permission, and the pair got into an argument. He said he wanted to shut her up, grabbed her neck, and pressed very strongly until she fell into his arms.
