Hamzah Ahmad berkata ESSCom yang ditubuhkan pada 10 tahun lalu terus unggul mempertahankan kedaulatan di wilayah pantai timur Sabah.

Katanya rampasan itu adalah hasil operasi di darat dan laut yang dikoordinasikan oleh ESSCom dengan pelaksanaan 1,401,593 pemeriksaan terhadap individu, kenderaan dan bot sekali gus menghasilkan 1,003 tangkapan atas pelbagai kesalahan. Dalam pada itu, Hamzah berkata ESSCom yang ditubuhkan pada 10 tahun lalu terus unggul mempertahankan kedaulatan di wilayah pantai timur Sabah selain dapat menangani pelbagai jenayah rentas sempadan termasuk penculikan bagi wang tebusan.
