'Enough is enough': Inglewood businesses fed up with weekly protesters plan their own rally yyc
“They’re blocking access to narrow sidewalks, they’re blocking businesses . . . And businesses have said ‘enough.’ ” said Rebecca O’Brien, executive director of the Inglewood Business Improvement Area . “People can protest . . . On most Thursdays, O’Brien said anywhere from 10 to 30 people converge on 9th Avenue to protest various public health measures, including mask and vaccine mandates.Article content O’Brien said in addition to the ongoing harassment, abuse and intimidation, she’s seen “multiple bylaw infractions,” including open fires, vandalism, noise infractions, and public urination and defecation.
