Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says there is an “enormous amount of detail” on the Voice to Parliament proposal already available.
“There are three points in that, following in recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as Australia’s first peoples,” Mr Albanese said during a press conference on Thursday.
“One, there shall be a Voice, two, it shall make representation on issues which impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People, and three, the functions and activities of the Voice will be determined by Parliament.
