Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan said Tambunan is a district that is developing and has potential especially in agriculture and tourism.
As an agricultural and tourism district, he wants to see changes in terms of facilities and tourism products including the tamu.“Tambunan is a small district where most of the people depend on tamu as an outlet for their products,” he said in a press conference after officiating the swearing-in of Tambunan District Councilors for the 2023-2025 term, the Excellent Service Award for District Council staff and the breaking of fast at the Perkasa hotel here on Friday.
