Oilpatch stalwart Al Monaco had been at the Calgary-based pipeline company for 27 years, serving as chief executive since 2012. “Under his leadership, Enbridge strategically expanded its liquids pipeline business into the U.S. Gulf Coast, executed the successfulmerger with Spectra Energy , built out its crude oil and export capabilities and accelerated its renewable energy and low-carbon growth,” Ebel said in a statement.
