His team maintains his innocence, and says he has "nothing to hide".
According to a source, Combs was arrested in a Manhattan hotel on Monday night and is currently being processed. The charges are unclear at this time.
Combs' attorney said that the musician has been cooperating with the investigation, and relocated to New York last week in anticipation of being charged."Sean 'Diddy' Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community. He is an imperfect person but is not criminal," Agnifilo told CNN.
Since last November, Combs has been hit with ten lawsuits, nine directly accusing him of sexual assault.
