But it looks like everything will change once again as it was announced earlier this morning that the Tesla founder will be resigning as CEO of the social media site. So who will take over the company? Let’s find out:After taking on the position for more than a year, in a recent tweet, Elon Musk announced that he has hired a new CEO for Twitter, or X Corp, which further confirmed his resignation from the role.
As for what the Chief Engineer of Space X will be doing from now on, he tweeted that he will still transition to another role in the company. “My role will transition to being executive chairman & Chief Technology Officer, overseeing product, software & sysops,”According to Wall Street Journal, both Elon and Linda have known each other for a while as the latter once interviewed the former on her “Possible” advertising conference. However, this is all just rumours for now. Neither the newly resigned Twitter CEO nor the World Economic Forum Executive Chairman have commented regarding the speculations.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see when the time comes. Let’s hope the company is in good hands whoever the new CEO may be.
