A Beechcraft Bonanza F35 aircraft had made an emergency landing on the North-South Expressway in Johor in 2020.
The Beechcraft Model 390 that crashed today departed from Langkawi International Airport and was heading to Subang airport.
KUALA LUMPUR: The incident in which a Beechcraft Model 390 crashed onto a highway near Bandar Elmina in Shah Alam today is the fourth in Malaysia involving this type of aircraft in 46 years. Ten people, including a state executive councillor, were killed when the light aircraft, operated by Jet Valet Sdn Bhd, crashed at 2.50pm today.
The victims comprised six passengers and two crew members of the plane, as well as a motorcyclist and a motorist using the highway there. The plane departed from Langkawi International Airport at 2.08pm and was heading to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang when it crashed.A Beechcraft 19 aircraft with two people on board disappeared in Johor airspace after taking off from the Seletar air base in Singapore.A single-engine two-seater Beechcraft BE-36 light aircraft, registration number VHTXY, went missing between Seremban and Tampin, Negeri Sembilan.Remnants of the plane were found by an RMAF Nuri helicopter at about 12.
