Elderly man hurt in stray dogs scuffle under probe for obstructing MBPJ officers
The Petaling Jaya Municipal Council has reported the case of a scuffle between its personnel and an elderly man to the police after stating that it would open an investigation into the case of alleged elder abuse. – Facebook pic, March 25, 2023.
A SENIOR citizen allegedly assaulted by city council enforcement officers during an operation to capture stray dogs is now under probe for preventing officials from doing their job. Petaling Jaya district police chief Fakhrudin Hamid said the Petaling Jaya City Council have filed a report stating that the man had allowed the stray dogs onto his premises and closed the gates.
