Hearing the three popular works in succession should be riveting, especially if Da Costa and Kern can convey Brahms’ romantic streak as lyrically as possible.
Renowned for her interpretations of Chopin, the 72-year-old Canadian classical pianist explained a few years ago to this newspaper:I am predisposed to like him because I have a Polish father.
