Edmonton police charge woman they allege is fraudulent doctor yeg

Police say Castro Rosales is posing as a doctor who “performs massage therapy, holistic therapies and quasi-medical techniques.” In addition to being charged with the unauthorized use of the title “Doctor” under the Health Professions Act, she faces fraud and attempted fraud charges. In another post that appears to be an advertisement for the business, a writeup says “Dr. Milne” has a two-year university diploma and Bachelor of Arts degree, plus a massage therapy diploma and a “clinical medical science post-graduate degree in medicine.”Charge text details show that Castro Rosales has been charged with fraud under $5,000 against both an individual and the insurer Alberta Blue Cross.
