That’s 37.57¢ more per litre due to the carbon tax and an additional maximum increase of 17¢ per litre because of the CFR, which is intended to reduce the carbon content of liquid fossil fuels. Similarly, an impact analysis of the CFR done by the federal environment ministry last year concluded:
