The Eden Project Morecambe's potential impact on rented housing and transport plans looks set to be the focus of special work by Lancaster councillors.

It also says some topics could be outside the committee's remit or are being looked at by other council committees, such as the leading cabinet. Regarding the Eden Project, a scrutiny committee report says the cabinet member with responsibility for housing [Green Coun Caroline Jackson] is establishing a cabinet task force to look at these issues.
Other ideas for scrutiny committee include a potential new council Property Group. The report says a lot of work has been done on reviewing council property in recent years including the 'Outcome Based Resourcing' review.
