Ed Sheeran paid tribute to Shane Warne and Michael Gudinski at a record-breaking show at Melbourne MCG on Thursday night.
The British superstar performed the classic Aussie rock ballad “throw your arms around me” in honour of the late Michael Gudinski, who Sheeran considered to be a mate and father figure.
Tributes also flowed for Shane Warne with Ed Sheeran telling the crowd it was difficult to be there without his friend.
